ESPOO, FINLAND,  August 31, 2023 – Dassiet Oy, a privately held orthopedic device manufacturer that drives a fundamental shift in orthopedic treatments by creating high performance solutions with wood based biomaterials, announces the addition of Jason Chapman as Area Vice President of Sales for the eastern half of the US in Dassiet’s Medical Division. Mr. Chapman’s role is designed to help grow the company’s development in the US commercial market and drive revenue growth with the UCAST and Woodcast product portfolios.  He joins the team with over 20 years of sales and management experience within the prosthetics, orthopedics, pain management and rehabilitation medical markets.  

Mr. Chapman will be responsible for building the US medical sales distribution channel with a strategic focus on the East half of the country.  He brings an extensive network of sales agent and clinician customer connections. His ability to add sales distribution and attract new customers makes him a tremendous asset for the company’s expansion initiatives.

Mr. Chapman holds a Bachelor of General Studies degree in Business Management and Marketing from Drury University.  He also holds an Associates in Physical Therapy Sciences.
