ESPOO, FINLAND,  September 15, 2023 – Dassiet Oy, a privately held orthopedic device manufacturer that drives a fundamental shift in orthopedic treatments by creating high performance solutions with wood based biomaterials, announces the addition of Perry Mervar, OTR, as their new Executive Vice President of Clinical Development for Dassiet’s Medical Division. Mr. Mervar’s role will help expand the company’s clinical expertise in the global orthopedic market and drive adoption of the UCAST and Woodcast product portfolios. He joins the team with over 26 years of sales, clinical and business development experience within the orthopedics, neurologic and burn specialties.  

Mr. Mervar will be responsible for building the global clinical team as well as lead R&D and business development initiatives. As a key member of Dassiet Medical’s executive leadership team, he will help drive the overall go-to-market strategy of the company. His ability to connect with customers and provide extensive clinical support makes him a vital asset for the company’s expansion initiatives.

Mr. Mervar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Indiana University as well as a Masters in Science degree in Strategic Leadership Design from University of Indianapolis.
